Characterization was off the charts and I fell in love with Elizabeth. Then the floodgates open and I have a million texts, “What should I read next?” And a romance reader is born. I mean, the die-hard no way I am not reading “that kind of book” person. The Witness is the book with which I woo non-romance readers. To be completely honest, I have never been disappointed with any book I have read by her. She had me with Carnal Innocenceback in 2009. Sounds very intriguing, and, good news, there might be a sequel! The only thing is, the killer has not been caught and might be after him next. His father, the Emperor, and three elder siblings mysteriously died in an “accident” and he must take his place as the new Emperor. Plus, it also has hobbits, elves, orcs, dwarves the list goes on of all the magical creatures this book contains. While it isn’t specifically about goblins, it does have goblins in it.
